This Platform is intended to provide general information to users regarding programs and initiatives offered by Yayasan Peneraju. By accessing or browsing our Platform, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Yayasan Peneraju relationship with you in relation to this Platform.
Yayasan Peneraju reserves the right to amend and vary the terms and conditions of use and the content of this Platform without prior notification.
- Usage of the Platform
- 1.1. Users shall use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Definitions
- 2.1. “Yayasan Peneraju”, “we”, and “us” refers to Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera, the owner of this Platform, a company incorporated in Malaysia with its registered business address at Level 15-1, Mercu UEM, Jalan Stesen Sentral 5, Kuala Lumpur Sentral, 50470 Kuala Lumpur.
- 2.2. “User”, “users”, and “you” refers to the user or viewer of this Platform.
- 2.3. “Platform" refers to the online website or digital interface provided by Yayasan Peneraju, where Users can access information, apply, and interact with various services and resources. This includes, but not limited to, all associated functionalities, features, and tools available.
- Account Registration
- 3.1. Users are required to provide accurate, complete, and up to date information during the account registration process. Users are solely responsible for maintaining and updating their account credentials.
- 3.2. Any information provided by users (including Personal Data and Sensitive Personal Data as defined under Personal Data Protection Act 2010) is entirely at the Users’ own risks and responsibilities.
- User Responsibilities
- 4.1. While every reasonable effort is made to ensure that the information contained on this Platform is accurate, complete and up to date, we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, reliability, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information contained herein.
- 4.2. Any reliance on the information, materials, products, or services provided on this Platform is at the User’s own risk.
- 4.3. Users shall not use this Platform for any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes. We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against any user engaging in unauthorized activities.
- Links to Third Parties
- 5.1. Through this Platform, users may gain access to external Platforms or resources that does not fall within Yayasan Peneraju’s ownership or control. We do not endorse or guarantee such third-party content and disclaim responsibility and liability for its usage.
- Content Protection
- 6.1. All copyright, trademarks, and intellectual property rights in the content of this Platform are the exclusive property of Yayasan Peneraju or its licensors, and are protected under Malaysian laws.
- 6.2. Unauthorized reproduction or exploitation of content without written permission is strictly prohibited.
- 6.3. Users shall not use content from this Platform for data mining, scraping, or unauthorized retrieval purposes.
- 6.4. Infringement of these rights may result in legal action, including criminal prosecution.
- Amendment to Terms
- 7.1. Yayasan Peneraju reserves the right to amend these terms at its sole discretion. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
- Governing Law
- 8.1. These terms shall be governed by and in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
- Introduction
- 1.1. This Privacy Policy stipulates the manner in which Yayasan Peneraju collects, processes and stores information in conformity with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and the laws of Malaysia.
- 1.2. This Privacy Policy also serves as a notice to inform you that your personal data and sensitive personal data will be collected, processed and stored by Yayasan Peneraju, including Yayasan Peneraju's oversight ministry, associated, related, and affiliated companies or to any third parties providing services to Yayasan Peneraju or to those involved in any corporate exercises with Yayasan Peneraju. Such disclosure shall be made as necessary to fulfil our obligations to you in relation to the purposes outlined herein. By providing Yayasan Peneraju your personal data, you have given us consent to collect, process and store your personal data.
- Definitions
- 2.1. The definitions of “Personal Data” and “Sensitive Personal Data” shall be defined and interpreted in accordance with the PDPA.
- Data Collection and Data Usage
- 3.1. It is the User’s sole responsibility to ensure that the Personal Data provided to Yayasan Peneraju are accurate, complete, not misleading and kept up to date.
- 3.2. It is obligatory for User to provide Personal Data to Yayasan Peneraju, failing which, Yayasan Peneraju reserves the right to not process or reject your application and request.

3.3. Yayasan Peneraju may collect the Personal Data through
Users in
the following instances:
- 3.3.1. Application form(s);
- 3.3.2. Registration process;
- 3.3.3. Submission of documents by Users;
- 3.3.4. Emails, phone calls, online conversations, and referrals;
- 3.3.5. Physical meetings;
- 3.3.6. Surveys; or
- 3.3.7. Other instances not specifically mentioned herein, where necessary.

3.4. Your personal data and sensitive personal data will be
collected, processed, and stored for the following Purposes
(“Purposes”):
- 3.4.1. Communicating with Users;
- 3.4.2. Provision and enhancement of products and services;
- 3.4.3. Administration, assessment, and evaluation of applications for sponsorships or scholarships;
- 3.4.4. Processing of payment transactions;
- 3.4.5. Security and fraud prevention measures;
- 3.4.6. Internal record keeping;
- 3.4.7. Corporate governance and administration;
- 3.4.8. Conducting surveys and trend analysis;
- 3.4.9. Branding, communications and corporate affairs including publication in Yayasan Peneraju’s printed materials, website and/or electronic media publication as well as external parties’ printed materials and/or electronic media publication;
- 3.4.10. Sending promotional materials;
- 3.4.11. Complying with legal and regulatory requirements.
- 3.5. Yayasan Peneraju reserves the right to obtain Personal Data from third parties and other sources where Users have provided consent for the disclosure or where otherwise lawfully permitted.
- Disclosure of Data
- 4.1. Yayasan Peneraju does not disclose the personal data of Users to unaffiliated third parties without the User’s prior consent unless required or permitted by law.
- 4.2. Where the processing of a User’s personal data necessitates the inclusion of personal data relating to third parties, Yayasan Peneraju may require User’s assistance in obtaining the necessary consent or facilitating such processing when required.

4.3 Yayasan Peneraju reserves the right to disclose your
personal
data to the following parties:
- 4.3.1. Board of Trustees, employees and representatives of Yayasan Peneraju;
- 4.3.2. Educational and academic institutions;
- 4.3.3. Approved Learning and Training Institutions (ALTIs);
- 4.3.4. Government agencies and regulatory bodies;
- 4.3.5. Law enforcement agencies;
- 4.3.6. Agents, contractors and service providers;
- 4.3.7. Any person under a duty of confidentiality who is required to maintain the confidentiality of Users’ data;
- 4.3.8. Yayasan Peneraju’s related companies, associate companies and affiliates;
- 4.3.9. Healthcare professionals, where necessary;
- 4.3.10. Entities or companies in which Yayasan Peneraju deems as potential employers in the event where Yayasan Peneraju intend to support the User’s career advancement; or
- 4.3.11. Other scholarship bodies, foundations and financial institutions that offer scholarship programs and education financing schemes, where necessary.
- 4.4. Yayasan Peneraju may disclose your Personal Data where required by law or where disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable laws, legal processes or queries from the relevant authorities.
- Data Storage and Retention
- 5.1. Yayasan Peneraju shall store personal data in its database and retain such data for as long as necessary to fulfil its operational, statutory, regulatory, and administrative obligations in accordance with the Purposes mentioned herein.
- 5.2. Yayasan Peneraju shall implement appropriate administrative, technical, and security safeguards in compliance with applicable laws and regulations to prevent unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage to personal data and sensitive personal data.
- 5.3. Personal data of Users may be permanently deleted or destroyed when it is deemed no longer necessary for Yayasan Peneraju’s purposes, as determined at its sole discretion.
- Data Security
- 6.1. Yayasan Peneraju is committed to safeguard personal data by implementing reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational security measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. These measures include encryption, access controls, regular security assessments, and employee training on data protection.
- 6.2. While Yayasan Peneraju takes reasonable steps to protect data, Yayasan Peneraju does not guarantee absolute protection against cybersecurity threats, unauthorized access, or data breaches. Users are advised to take necessary precautions, such as safeguarding their credentials and ensuring secure communication.
- 6.3. In the event of a data breach, Yayasan Peneraju shall take action and measures to mitigate risks and, where required, notify affected parties and relevant authorities in accordance with applicable laws.
- Access and Update Personal Data
- 7.1. Users have the right to access and update their personal data and sensitive personal data by contacting Yayasan Peneraju. Users are solely responsible for maintaining and updating their account credentials.
- Update(s) to Policy
- 8.1. Yayasan Peneraju reserves the right to amend, vary and modify this Policy from time to time in conjunction with any changes in the law, our business practices, processes or structure.
- 8.2. Any changes will be reflected through the Platform, and continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
- Declaration
- 9.1. By submitting your Personal Data, you declare that you have read, fully understood and accepted the statements herein and further authorise Yayasan Peneraju to process the Personal Data.
- All copyright and intellectual property of the content in this system, including text, graphics, logos, and data, belong to Yayasan Peneraju.
- Any reproduction, distribution, or exploitation of the content for commercial purposes are prohibited without written permission from Yayasan Peneraju.
- Users are not allowed to copy, download, or store the system’s content for the purpose of retrieving data or information without permission.

Note: Financing Scheme availability will be on a quarterly basis. Approved courses will be closed once the
quarterly limit is reached and reopen in the next quarter allocation. Plan ahead and check our social
media for updates.
