The Certified Halal Internal Audit Programme (CHAP) is a professional course designed to equip individuals with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to conduct Halal internal audits within an organization. This comprehensive programme covers the full audit process, from planning and preparation to execution and reporting. Participants will learn to coordinate pre-audit activities, prepare audit tools, and conduct both documentation and on-site audits. The curriculum also includes managing opening and closing meetings, preparing audit findings, and conducting follow-up actions to ensure compliance with Halal standards. The programme comprises eight core competency units: CU 1: Coordinate Pre-Audit, CU 2: Prepare Audit Tools, CU 3: Coordinate Opening Meeting, CU 4: Carry Out Documentation Audit, CU 5: Carry Out On-Site Audit, CU 6: Prepare Audit Finding Report, CU 7: Carry Out Audit Closing Meeting, and CU 8: Conduct Follow-Up Halal.
