Cybersecurity Machine Learning for Threat Detection & Response
A 3-day (24-hour) advanced practical course that integrates Machine Learning (ML) with Cybersecurity Threat Detection. Participants learn to design and deploy AI models for intrusion detection, malware classification, phishing detection (via NLP), and anomaly detection using real-world log data. The course emphasizes Python, Scikit-learn, and TensorFlow frameworks for security analytics. Through guided exercises, learners develop end-to-end ML pipelines for detecting and responding to cyber threats, culminating in a capstone project where participants design an AI-powered threat detection and response system. The training includes exposure to AI-driven dashboards, automated alerts, and response automation tools — preparing participants to become certified CCTMLA (Cyber Threat Machine Learning Analysts) capable of strengthening Malaysia’s digital defense ecosystem.
Open to students or employees with a basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and interest in digital safety.
